The Development of Cassava Database Management Syatem Using Geographic Information System: A Case Study of Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

At present, cassava is the second most exported agricultural product than rice. The farmers interested to cassava. But farmer's problems are many. Such as problem of product, insect and prices. Therefore, the development of cassava database using GIS case study in Ubonratchathani. The sample case study field. Ubon Ratchathani Province consists of 3 districts. Amphoe Phibun Mangsahan, Amphoe Sirindhorn and Amphoe Khong Chiam. The data collected by the farmers is used to display the geographic location and calculate the area. And the total product output of the farmer in the various periods of time and then collected data to show the statistics of the farmer group. The result of the research showed the satisfaction of the administrators system evaluation was high at the mean of 3.41 and SD = 0.80. The satisfaction of the user (official) group was satisfactory. At the high level, the mean value was 3.79 and SD = 0.86 and the satisfaction of the farmers. (Members) had a high level of satisfaction with mean = 3.66 and S.D = 0.83.
