การประเมินศักยภาพการผลิตข้าวอินทรีย์ของเกษตรกร กรณีศึกษาตำบลกระเบื้องใหญ่ อำเภอพิมาย จังหวัดนครราชสีมา A case study of Krabuangyai sub-district, Phimai district, Nakhon Ratchasima

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate the current situation and potential of organic rice production of farmers in Phimai district, Nakhon Ratchasima. Based on the observation, the results found that the farmers have good social and economic background; and they have knowledge about organic rice farming. Additionally, organic rice producer group was established and bio-fertilizer production group was also found. Most of the rice varieties used were Thai jasmine Rice 105 (KDML105) and Leuang Pratew. Before rice cultivation, green manure was applied and then plowed. They used chemical fertilizer combined with organic fertilizers, pig manure, vinegar, wood smoke, rice yield. The average rice yield was 401-500 kg/rai, which were then distributed in the district. However, the farmers were participated to the good agricultural practices (GAP) of rice of Nakhon Ratchasima.  To prepare for organic agriculture, the farmers in Baan Toei produced both of organic rice and combined with chemicals. There is insufficient water / water management problem. The cost of fertilizer production, labor machines, and rents are high, coupled with drought / flooding problems in one season, can be planted 2-3 times, but only one harvest and soil salinity is low.
