A Development of a Energy Consumption Model for an Effective Management of Sufficient and Proper Energy in ASEAN Regions: A Case Study of the Communities of Ubon Ratchathani Province

The paper aimed to develop a model for effective management of sufficient and proper energy in ASEAN regions in the communities of Ubon Ratchathani province. A total of 400 samples were derived by the Least Square method. The energy usege was studied in two aspects: electricity energy and fuel energy. The indexes used in an analysis were the ratio of spending on energy per a monthly income, total income and per head. It was found that energy consumption model (Y) was a function of energy consumption index (Y1), fuel energy index (Y2), domestic energy use index (Y3). The results showed energy consumption model Y = f(Y1 , Y2 , Y3) that can be used to estimate of the energy consumption for future. The developed model can be used to study a behavior in the energy use and as the index to plan the energy development in ASEAN regions.
