Abstract

The objective of this research was to solve the problem of recycling waste transportation management, by analyzing transportation routes and fuel consumption rates of vehicles. Garbage transportation begins sending vehicles from recycling companies to pick up recyclable waste from 12 waste sources (Garbage collection point). The characteristics of the road are considered to be related to the fuel consumption rate, and analysis with a Mixed Integer Linear Programming on Lingo v. 11. Results show the ability to solve the problems of the city in an effective case study. It comparing the cost of conventional transportation with the proposed method, it was found that the case study of the city can reduce the average fuel consumption by 5,155.80 liters per year or approximately 134,514.82 baht per year.
