The Development of Water Renewable Catfish Farming System by Solar Energy Case Study: Ban Na Mai Phai Community Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract
The research aims to develop of water renewable catfish farming system by solar energy and compare the water quality from catfish farming with cement ponds with solar water renewable systems in Ban Na Mai Phai Community in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The needs and the problems of the catfish farmers were surveyed. Then, the farming system was developed. The water qualities were tested. There were two factors of the growths of the catfishes: the dissolved oxygen and the potential of hydrogen ion of the water. According to the test results, the developed system could averagely increase the dissolved oxygen to 6.57 milligrams per liter and the potential of hydrogen ion was averagely increased to 0.90. The hypotheses were statistically tested for one sample T-Test at the significance level of 0.05. It was found that the ratio of the probability value of the dissolved oxygen and that of the potential of hydrogen ion was 0.00. This showed that the water renewable catfish farming system by solar energy increased the values of both factors with the statistical significances. The dissolved oxygen and the potential of hydrogen ion were increased appropriately for catfish farming. It improved the efficiency of catfish farming
