Abstract
This research aims to analyze the approach to creating added value of Umbrella Plant materials to design various types of jewelry products to design, to prototype develop jewelry types from Umbrella Plant materials in an innovative knowledge dimension for community development. It uses techniques based on the popularity of color training and to explore consumer satisfaction with jewelry prototypes from Umbrella Plant materials to compete in the market and reliability was .80. According to the research, it was found were female, aged 21-25, self-employed; satisfaction with new product types 6, 8 and 9, with type 6 being the highest satisfaction level is Shape and
Proportion. Type 8 Satisfaction is the highest level patterns, and type 9, the highest level of satisfaction is to increase the value of f Umbrella Plant materials, and when evaluating the product model/prototype product and the suitability of the Umbrella Plant product, it is very high
with an average of 4.23, S.D. = 0.09. Most of them were satisfied with the product as a whole being beautiful and attractive to the eyewitness, which has the highest average of 4.50, S.D. = 0.76. In conclusion, this village group has a creative patterns, techniques, giving color. Color wheel more color paste the product model and development has created 3 prototype product models, 9 of which include necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
