Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop art and culture data warehouses for promoting ecotourism in Ubon Ratchathani province. 2) to determine the satisfaction of the users when using the art and culture data warehouse system for promoting ecotourism in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The sample users who participate in this study were the 5 local government organizations in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The participants were divided into 5 executives, 25 operating officers. The purposive sampling process was used to choose the sample. The data were collected using the questionnaire form based on a valuation scale based on Likert's method. The system was developed on the Linux operating system and system development programs, including PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript. The statistics used for data analysis are mean and standard deviation. The results of the study revealed that: 1) Art and cultural data warehouse for promoting ecotourism in Ubon Ratchathani Province can work in the form of a web application and manage data, text, images, and video images. The system can display the location with a digital Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates and supports operations via a desktop computer and mobile phones. 2) The results from satisfaction assessment of the art and culture data warehouse system for promoting ecotourism in Ubon Ratchathani Province overall showed that the level of user satisfaction is at a high level (= 4.47, S.D = 0.09). According to the evaluation of the satisfaction of users at a high-level show that the developed system works as intended.
