Development of Screening Elderly Patients to Appoint Cataract Surgery Application

Abstract
This research aims to 1. develop an application for screening elderly patients to get cataract surgery, 2. evaluate the efficiency of the application and 3. evaluate the satisfaction level of the application. There were two sample groups in this research. The first group consisted of five experts on application evaluation and the other group consisted of thirty purposively selected officers from Romklao Hospital. The instruments in this study were 1. the developed application, 2. the questionnaire to evaluate the efficiency of the application and 3. the questionnaire to evaluate the satisfaction level of the application. The statistic used in this study were Mean and Standard Deviation. The results of this research are 1. the developed application for screening elderly patients to get cataract surgery which consists of cataract knowledge and data record of elderly patients to get cataract surgery, 2. the efficiency of the application is in a good level and 3. the satisfaction of the application is in good level.
