Abstract

Visualization Gallery is a novel session of the Transactions of the TSME: Journal of Research and Applications in Mechanical Engineering (JRAME). This session is focusing the invisible visible through the experimental visualization techniques and numerical/computer‐aided visualization on visualization of fluid mechanics, thermal, solid mechanisms, and combustion, etc. This session of “Visualization Gallery” contains four papers. Four galleries are related to (1) thermal characteristics on impingement surface with swirling jets, (2) the vortex phenomena generators in the fin‐and‐oval‐tube heat exchanger, (3) the Von Mises stress situates at the bent between upper flange and web, and (4) the intrinsic instability of adiabatic and non‐adiabatic premixed flames due to the effect of the activation energy. Editors would like to express their sincere gratitude to the authors who have contributed to this special session. We hope that this special session would provide the readers with the latest trends in mechanical engineering and technology fields.
