Editors Preface

Abstract

This Special Issue of TSME‐ICoME2013 aims to publish the outstanding research papers presented at the 4th TSME International Conference on Mechanical Engineering, held on 16‐18 October 2013, in Pattaya, Thailand. This issue contains nine papers dealing with experimental investigations and numerical studies in mechanical engineering. The topics covered in this special issue include (1) Applied mechanics, Materials and Manufacturing, (2) Biomechanics and (3) Fluid mechanics, Thermal system and Simulation techniques. We hope that it is valuable to readers for their own research work. We would like to express our gratitude to all the authors for their contribution and their cooperation in the editorial process. Finally, we would like to thank all the reviewers for their valuable comments and suggestions, which helped to improve the quality of this special issue. It has been a pleasure and an interesting experience for us to work on this special issue.
