Main Article Content
Abstract
The purposes of the research were to synthesize models of technology application for improving life skills of primary students and to conduct a survey on the opinions of experts toward the appropriateness of a model of technology application for improving life skills of primary students. The target population was nine experts consisting of three teachers, three supervisors and three university academicians. The research instrument was a questionnaire on the appropriateness of the model. The statistics used were mean and standard deviation. The study showed that the model of technology application for improving life skills of the students consisted of five major components: 1) policy, rationale and literature review, 2) 4H frame of life skills, 3) activities of life skill improvement (PjBL), 4) ICT frame and 5) indicators for learning activities. The findings showed that the overall opinion of the experts toward the appropriateness of the model of technology application for improving life skills of the students was at the highest level ( = 4.78, S.D. = .44). Six highest rated components of the appropriateness of technology application were PjBL process ( = 4.67, S.D = .50), ICT frame ( = 4.78, S.D. = .44), consistency of the indicators with activities, aspect model with rationale, concept of model development ( = 4.89, S.D. = .33), results of technology application for improving life skills of the students ( = 4.78, S.D. = .44) and learning activities of technology application for improving life skill of the students ( = 4.89, S.D. = .33).
