Abstract

          The product development from applied Teen Jok woven textile of Thai Puan people at Hat Siao sub-district, Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province was the research which had the purpose of research to develop product from applied Teen Jok woven textile of Thai Puan people. The research methodology started from interviewing and studying Teen Jok fabric pattern and previous products from Teen Jok of Thai Puan people at Hai Siao sub-district, Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province. The result was found that Teen Jok fabric had its own characteristic that would limited the improvements while previous products from Teen Jok woven textile was the product which had specific pattern, old-fashioned, and repeated design and the design of previous products were also appropriated for few occasions then there should be the woven textile attributes adding that could processed product for more occasion use, modernized product development, and conformed to the product processing. Researcher used the concept of attribute improvement by applying cotton yarn from using local cotton yarn in the development which were Bogolan no.20 ( larger than cotton/art silk that were commonly used) and Art Silk by having the concept of improving fabric pattern for creating new textures and adding textile attributes to be Rubbing Fastness and Colour Fastness Properties. For the Teen Jok textile pattern in term of product design, researcher used the concept of product design of Teerachai Suksod which was the creating new things from previous one. The shape of product had taken the concept from designing to meet the market needs and designing trends by using the designing trend of 2017, Trend Report Spring/Summer, and coloring trends of Omni-Theory Infash Forward Trend Spring/Summer 2017 applied with the concept of “Kued Hoo” in designing for 3 patterns then asked for the opinion of Product Design from Applied Teen Jok experts about the principle of applied product design for 3 person and it was found that the appropriation of cloth product designing from applied Teen Jok pattern of Thai Puan of the first pattern was in the most level (=4.30, S.D. =0.88) and surveying the consumer satisfaction towards the product development from applied Teen Jok woven textile of Thai Puan people at Hat Siao sub-district, Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province of weaving group, enterprises, comsumers, and tourists at Hat Siao sub-district, Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province in 3 months for 169 person by using Accidental Sampling. It was found that the satisfaction of applied Teen Jok pattern of Thai Puan of the first pattern was in high level (=4.35, S.D. =0.85). For the consideration by the list, it was found that the stylishness had the highest satisfaction level which was in high level (=4.43, S.D. =0.88)
