Abstract

This period change study of a binary system V781 Tauri was conducted using 0.7 meters telescope and CCD with blue, visual and red filters for observation on 28 December 2018 at the Regional Observatory for the Public, Chachoengsao. The analysis found that the orbital period of the V781 Tauri binary system has a decreasing rate or 0.00283 second/year which means the distance between both stars is continuously decreasing. It is possible that the evolution of the V781 Tauri binary system is corresponding to the Angular Momentum Loss (AML) theory. Furthermore, it was found from the O-C diagram study that there is a periodic oscillation tendency that explained the existence of the third body with the orbital radius of 1.38 AU and the period of 41.906 years.
