ปริมาณสารอัลฟ่าอะไมริน (-amyrin) ในสารสกัดจากใบสาบเสือ (Chromolaena odorata L.) ที่สกัดด้วยเอทานอลและฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรีย Propionibacterium acnes

บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณของสาร gif.latex?\alpha-amyrin ในสารสกัดใบสาบเสือ และทดสอบฤทธิ์ทางชีวภาพของสารสกัดจากใบสาบเสือที่สกัดด้วย เอทานอล 95% ต่อเชื้อ P.acnes ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ในสารสกัดใบสาบเสือที่สกัดด้วย เอทานอล มีความเข้มข้นของ gif.latex?\alpha-amyrin เท่ากับ 163.1 mg/g น้ำหนักแห้งผงใบสาบเสือ และค่า peak ที่ retention time เท่ากับ 4.355 นาที ซึ่งมีค่าใกล้เคียงกับจุด peak ของสารมาตรฐาน gif.latex?\alpha-amyrin (4.251 นาที) การทดสอบความสามารถในการยับยั้งเชื้อ P.acnes พบว่า ความเข้มข้นต่ำสุดของสารในการยับยั้งเชื้อ P.acnes (MIC) เท่ากับ 0.78±0.062 mg/ml และความเข้มข้นต่ำสุดของสารในการทำลายเชื้อ P.acnes (MBC) เท่ากับ 1.56±0.017 mg/ml จึงมีฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งเชื้อ P.acnes ต่ำกว่า Tetracycline HCL สารสกัดจากเปลือกมังคุด และสารจากสกัดเปลือกต้นชะเอม แต่สูงกว่าสารจากสกัดใบมันสำปะหลัง มีฤทธิ์ในการทำลายเชื้อ P.acnes ต่ำกว่า Tetracycline HCL และสารสกัดจากเปลือกมังคุด แต่สูงกว่าสารสกัดจากเปลือกต้นชะเอม และสารสกัดจากใบมันสำปะหลัง เมื่อทำการทดสอบด้วย disc diffusion method (clear zone test) ที่ความเข้มข้นของสารสกัดจากใบสาบเสือ 0.2 mg/ml พบว่าความยาวของรัศมีส่วนใสเท่ากับ 14.67±0.471 mm ซึ่งมีความยาวมากกว่า 6 mm ของ paper disc จึงสามารถยับยั้งแบคทีเรีย gif.latex?\alpha-amyrin ได้ดี
