แนวทางการออกแบบพื้นที่สาธารณะเทศบาลนครสงขลา

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอแนวคิดการออกแบบพื้นที่สาธารณะ เพื่อเป็นแนวทางใน การพัฒนาพื้นที่ว่างสาธารณะให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อประชาชนในเทศบาลนครสงขลา ดำเนินการวิจัยด้วยการสำรวจกายภาพร่วมกับแผนที่ Google Earth ทำการสอบถามผู้ใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะแบบบังเอิญ (Accidental Sampling) จำนวน 240 คน เพื่อวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะของผู้ใช้ทุกช่วงอายุ ด้านการระบุความเหมาะสมของพื้นที่ใช้แบบสอบถามให้ค่าระดับความพึงพอใจตามมาตรวัดของลิเคิร์ท ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-2019 ทำให้มีการกระจายพื้นที่กิจกรรม โดยพื้นที่สะพานดาวมีศักยภาพที่จะนำมาพัฒนาและปรับปรุง แนวคิดการออกแบบที่เหมาะสมคำนึงถึงการเว้นระยะห่างทางกายภาพ (Physical Distancing) รูปแบบกิจกรรมที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้คนทุกวัย และความกลมกลืนกับสภาพแวดล้อมธรรมชาติเดิม ประเด็นสำคัญของข้อค้นพบในการวิจัย คือ ควรนำกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมเป็นกลไกหลักในการขับเคลื่อนร่วมกันระหว่างผู้วิจัย ภาคีเครือข่ายภาครัฐ และภาคีเครือข่ายภาคประชาชนในทุกขั้นตอนผลลัพธ์ที่ได้จะทำให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดตามความต้องการของประชาชน
