At present, decorative ceramic products manufactured by ceramic community enterprises face problems related to limited product variety and the inability to respond effectively to consumer demands, which affect both market competitiveness and product value enhancement. Therefore, this research aimed to design and develop a ceramic aroma lamp reflecting local identity by applying the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) technique to systematically translate customer requirements into product design guidelines. Data were collected from a sample consisting of customers, ceramic product users, and ceramic manufacturers in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, and Phatthalung provinces, totaling 105 participants. The research instruments included questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean scores and the prioritization of important product attributes through the House of Quality (HOQ) matrix. The results revealed nine important product attributes for product design, including product aesthetics, price appropriateness, crack-free characteristics, product dimensions, color tone selection, local identity, product lifespan, product patterns, and coating durability. These attributes were subsequently utilized in the design and development of the product prototype. The customer satisfaction evaluation indicated that the overall mean satisfaction score for the decorative ceramic product was 4.58, with a standard deviation (SD) of 0.19, representing the highest level of satisfaction. The findings demonstrate that the Quality Function Deployment technique can be effectively applied to the design and development of new decorative ceramic products that respond to the needs of ceramic product users.
