The Creation of a Positive Behavior by Using Appreciative Inquiry A Case Study in the Application of Information Technology
The study of a creation of students’ positive behavior by using appreciative inquiry: a case study in the application of information technology aimed to obtain the students’ experience in positive vision and to use the data from the study for defining the common practice in the application of information technology courses in order to create a positive behavior in learning. This study was a qualitative study. The researcher used the appreciative inquiry as a basis for planning. The sample consisted of 184 students enrolled in the application of information technology in second semester academic year 2011. The result of the interview showed that the students had good experience with teaching and learning management. It can be summarized the main points into six points of the best feeling as follow; Appreciative Inquiry with the best experience in teaching and learning management, Appreciative Inquiry with the knowing of the application of information technology course, Appreciative Inquiry with the first decision to enroll the course of the application of information technology, Appreciative Inquiry with impression to the application of information technology course, Appreciative Inquiry with the expectation to the achievement of learning the application of information technology course, and Appreciative Inquiry with the need to develop the application of information technology course in any form.
