Brushless DC Motor Controlled with Microcontroller for Electric Tricycle

This paper presents a brushless DC motor controlled. The microcontroller is used to control the system operation apply to an electric tricycle. Since, a brushless DC motor is a maintenance free which it is compared to a classical DC motor. A trapezoid method apply to the control system is proposed. The rotor magnet position information, it is performed by a hall sensor with a difference of 120, and 1 cycle there are 6 step reference. To confirm the proposed control system, it is tested to control speed of the electric tricycle at a 80 kg laden.
