Development of the Mathematics Package on the Exponent Focusing on a Cooperative Learning Process of Team–Games–Tournament Technique (TGT) for Matthayom Suksa One Students
The research aimed to 1) to develop the mathematics package on the exponent focusing on a cooperative learning process of TGT technique for Matthayom Suksa one (Grade 7) according to an 80/80 criterion, 2) to compare a post-learning achievement of the experimental group taught by the package focusing on a cooperative learning process of TGT technique and of the control group taught by a normal teaching method, 3) to study the attitude towards mathematics learning of the experimental group and the control group. The samples used in the research consisted of 100 Matthayom Suksa one (Grade 7) students of Benjamamaharat School in the first semester of the academic year 2013, obtained by a cluster sampling. The research duration was 14 hours. The research findings were as follows. 1) The efficiency of the mathematics package on the exponent focusing on a cooperative learning process called TGT technique for Matthayom Suksa one students was equivalent to 81.44/81.80. 2) A post-learning achievement of the experimental group who learned by the mathematics package based on TGT technique was higher than that of the control group who learned by a conventional teaching method with a statistical significance of .01. 3) The attitude towards mathematics learning of the experimental group who learned by the mathematics package based on TGT technique was higher than that of the control group who learned by a traditional teaching method with a statistical significance of .01.
