Abstract

Nowadays, Trend of urban lifestyle has been changed. People in the city choose to live in the condominium. Therefore, demand of self-storage space in urban area is increasing dramatically. Apparently, real estate operators see that opportunity to build more of the self-storage building for rent. They need more of information and knowledge. This research tries to study and create properly guideline to design self-storage building. It was concluded into 6 respects. 1. Location 2. Physical design 3. Circulation 4. Fire detecting & fighting 5. Security system 6. Materials Hopefully, this study will be a useful resource for both developer and people in their community.
