This study aimed to develop an application learning media based on teaching through constructivist simulation model on communication technology for grade 8 students. The study also examined the quality, efficiency, effectiveness index, and students’ satisfaction toward the developed application. The sample consisted of 25 Grade 8/3 students from Muang Somdet School, Kalasin Province, selected through cluster random sampling using the classroom as the sampling unit. The research instruments included the developed application, a quality evaluation form, an achievement test, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. The statistical methods used in this study were percentage, effectiveness index, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the overall quality of the developed application was at a high level ( = 4.39,SD = 0.52). The application achieved an efficiency of 82.00/82.40, which met the predetermined criterion of 80/80. The students demonstrated learning progress with an effectiveness index of 0.66 (66%). Moreover, the overall student satisfaction toward the application was at the highest level (
= 4.62, SD = 0.64). In conclusion, the Android-based learning application on communication technology for Grade 8 students is appropriate for instructional use and can effectively enhance students’ learning achievement.
