Abstract

This research involved developing a board game on asexual plant propagation for Grade 8 students, combined with the IPADT model teaching model. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used in the experiment. The target group consisted of 26 Grade 8 students from Satowitthayakhom Rachamangklabhisek School. The research instruments were: 1) the board game on asexual plant propagation (Green Hackers), 2) a lesson plan on asexual plant propagation using the IPADT model, 3) a learning achievement test, and 4) a student satisfaction questionnaire. Statistical methods used included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that: 1) the board game on asexual plant propagation for Grade 8 students had a learning effectiveness (E1/E2) of 80.38/88.08, and 2) students' learning achievement after using the board game was higher than before the intervention. The average pre-test score was 8.58 points, and the average post-test score was 17.62 points. 3) students showed a high level of satisfaction with the board game on asexual plant propagation (equation = 4.37, SD = 0.76), indicating that the development of the board game in conjunction with the IPADT model of instruction can be used as a prototype for developing active learning teaching materials for agricultural content at other grade levels.
