Process

All submissions to Creative Science undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of published research. The journal follows a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. The process is as follows:

Initial Evaluation: Upon submission, the editorial staff checks whether the manuscript falls within the journal’s scope. Manuscripts outside the scope will be rejected without further review.

Format and Plagiarism Check: The editorial staff examines the manuscript for formatting, adherence to author guidelines, and plagiarism. If the manuscript does not meet the required conditions, it is returned to the author for correction and resubmission. Manuscripts passing this stage proceed to the next step.

Reviewer Assignment: The editorial team nominates appropriate reviewers, and the assigned editor selects at least three with relevant expertise .

Review Process: Invited reviewers evaluate the manuscript for scientific merit, originality, and clarity. They provide constructive feedback and recommend: acceptance as is, minor revisions, major revisions, resubmission, or rejection.

Editorial Decision: The editorial team considers the reviewers’ comments and makes a decision. If substantial revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors for revision and may undergo a second round of review.

Revision Process: Authors are expected to revise their manuscript in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted with a point-by-point response. Major revisions may be sent again to the reviewers for further evaluation, while minor revisions may be checked only by the editor.

Final Decision: After satisfactory revisions, the editor concludes the review process. Manuscripts not meeting the reviewers’ or editor’s expectations will be rejected. Those that meet the standards will be accepted.

Proof and Publication: Accepted manuscripts proceed to the galley proof stage, in which authors check the final layout. After final approval, the manuscript is published online and subsequently listed as In Press.

Through this process, Creative Science ensures that only high-quality, scientifically sound, and ethically rigorous research is published, maintaining the journal’s commitment to academic excellence.
