มุมมองใหม่ในการศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ในโลกหลังสมัยใหม่

สาระสังเขป

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) อธิบายขอบเขตของการศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ในอดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต 2)  นำเสนอข้อถกเถียงบางประการเกี่ยวกับการศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ การศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ควรก้าวข้ามมุมมองการศึกษาแบบเก่าที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการทำความเข้าใจรัฐและการปกครองอย่างเอาจริงเอาจัง โดยไม่เปิดพื้นที่ให้กับมุมมองอื่น ระเบียบวิธีการแสวงหาความรู้ทางรัฐศาสตร์ควรแตกต่างหลากหลายมากกว่าอดีต หน่วยในการวิเคราะห์และระดับการวิเคราะห์ไม่ควรจำกัดคับแคบ นักรัฐศาสตร์ควรแสดงให้เห็นถึงพื้นที่การเมืองหรืออำนาจต่างๆ ที่นอกเหนือไปจากพื้นที่ของรัฐและอำนาจที่เป็นทางการ

Summary

The objective of this article was 1) to explain the scope of study on Political Science in the past, present, and future, 2) to present some arguments about the methodology on Political Science. The study of Political Science should bridge the old perspectives that seriously focus on understanding of state and governances, this perspectives could not open space to others perspectives. The inquiry methodology of Political Science should differentiate from the past.  Unit of analysis and level of analysis should not constant. Political Scientists should indicate political spaces and others power.
