The Model Development for Thai Industrial Business Organization in the Age of Disruptive Economy

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the essential components of an organization management model for Thai Industrial Business Organization in the Age of Disruptive Economy; 2) to develop the organization management model for Thai Industrial Business Organization in the Age of Disruptive Economy; and 3) to construct a guideline manual for application to Thai Industrial Business Organization in the Age of Disruptive Economy. The research was a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative approach using Delphi technique, factor analysis, and focus group discussion. The participants were business executives, business consultants and the experts & specialists in Thai Industrial Business Organizations. The research tools were interview questions, questionnaire and record forms. The data were analyzed by using content analysis and the statistic for mean, median, interquartile and factor analysis. The results revealed that the model development of organization management comprised 4 essential dimensions with 12 components. The first dimension was Organizational Attribute consisted of 5 components: 1) Vision & Direction; 2) Strategy; 3) Structure & Culture; 4) Building Innovation; and 5) Networking. The second was working process consisted of Systemic Accuracy. The third was Human Capital Management consisted of 2 components: 1) Human Resources Development and 2) Talent Management. The fourth dimension was Organizational Leaders consisted of 4 components: 1) Transformational Leadership; 2) Collaborative Leadership; 3) Courageous & Creative Leadership; and 4) Agile Leadership. The manual composed of 2 parts which Part 1 identified the manual key points and Part 2 identified the development guidelines with 4 development modules and 12 learning units. The model was approved with consensus agreement by the experts for the appropriateness in application. The manual was further evaluated for supporting the growth of business in the age of disruptive economy.
