On February 4, 2025, the Thai-Journal Citation Index Center (TCI) website announced the results of the new journal quality assessment into the TCI database for the year 2025 by The Journal of Spatial Innovation Development ฟssessment into the TCI Database 2 (Tier 2) certified from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029.

Journal Article Reference Format Update
08/26/2025Journal Article Reference Format
Beginning with Volume 7 (2026) of the Journal of Spatial Information and Decision (JSID), the editorial board will implement a revised article format aimed at enhancing the journal's international visibility and academic rigor. This revision is intended to standardize article components in alignment with global publishing practices, thereby supporting broader dissemination and citation in the international research community.
The key changes will include the requirement that all visual elements (such as figures and tables) and bibliographic references be presented in English. These modifications are part of JSID's strategic direction to increase accessibility to a wider academic audience, including researchers and practitioners from outside Thailand. Additionally, these changes will facilitate indexing in international databases and improve the journal’s scholarly impact.
A newly updated article template reflecting these revisions is currently under development and will be formally announced in due course. Authors intending to submit to the journal are advised to await the forthcoming template and prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the updated guidelines to ensure compliance with the new formatting standards.

การปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบบทความสำหรับการตีพิมพ์
08/01/2025ตามที่กองบรรณาธิการวารสารวิชาการเพื่อการพัฒนานวัตกรรมเชิงพื้นที่ (JSID) ได้ดำเนินการปรับปรุงรูปแบบการจัดทำบทความ ซึ่งจะเริ่มนำมาใช้ในบทความ ปักษ์ที่ 1 ปีที่ 7 (2569/1) เพื่อให้การเผยแพร่และนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ทางวิชาการเป็นไปอย่างกว้างขวางและมีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น กองบรรณาธิการขอแจ้งให้ท่านทราบถึงข้อกำหนดที่ปรับปรุงใหม่ ดังต่อไปนี้
- หัวข้อหลัก ได้แก่ ชื่อเรื่อง ชื่อผู้แต่ง บทคัดย่อ และคำสำคัญ ต้องระบุทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ (ตรวจสอบให้มีความถูกต้องและครบถ้วน)
- ส่วนหัวข้ออื่น ๆ ให้ใช้ชื่อหัวข้อเป็นภาษาอังกฤษเท่านั้น ส่วนเนื้อหาอาจใช้ภาษาไทยหรือภาษาอังกฤษก็ได้ตามความเหมาะสม (ปรับใหม่จากเดิมใช้ภาษาไทย)
- ข้อความและอักษรภายในรูปภาพและตาราง ให้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเท่านั้น (ปรับใหม่จากเดิมใช้ภาษาไทย)
- เอกสารอ้างอิงให้จัดทำเป็นภาษาอังกฤษทั้งหมด กรณีที่แหล่งอ้างอิงเดิมเป็นภาษาไทย ให้แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษโดยสมบูรณ์และใส่วงเล็บท้ายว่า (in Thai) (ปรับใหม่จากเดิมใช้ภาษาไทยและอังกฤษ)

This includes submission fees, peer review fees, publication or processing charges, and any other associated costs. This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to promoting open access to academic research and ensuring the dissemination of knowledge without imposing financial burdens on authors or readers.

Update to JSID Article Format Starting Volume 7 (2026)
05/19/2025Starting from Volume 7 (2026), the Journal of Spatial Information and Decision (JSID) will implement revisions to its article format to align more closely with international academic standards. Key components such as figures, tables, and references will henceforth be required in English. A new article template reflecting these changes will be announced in due course.
