As of January 2015, Applied Environmental Research (AER) was approved to be included in the Tier 1 on science and technology by the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI). The high quality of publications of AER will be guaranteed by TCI until 31 December 2019.
In addition, AER has been indexed in ASEAN Citation (ACI), a central regional database of the ASEAN scholarly journals, since October 2014. Among hundreds of journals indexed in the TCI, AER was approved by the ACI Steering committee as one of the first batch for Thai journals in ACI.
