Analysis Factors fo Servant leaderships qualities of teacher under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the factor of Servant leaderships qualities of teacher under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education. The sample used in this study consisted of 291 teachers from the Office of Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education who were randomly selected by using multi-stage sampling. Data was collected by a questionnaire with a five rating scale of teachers’ servant leadership qualities. The questionnaire had an index of congruence of between 0.66-1.00, the discrimination value was 0.30 and above, and the reliability was 0.93. The factor were analyzed using principal component analysis and the varimax method of orthogonal rotation. The results of this research revealed that there were five factors of servant leadership quality displayed by the teachers surveyed. These were: Organization Enrichment; Tolerance of Differences; Being a Good Role Model; Modesty; and Human Relationships. The percentage of explained variance in all five factors was 52.52.
