The Journal of Applied Research on Science and Technology (JARST), formerly Research Journal Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, has been established since 1997 as Research and Training Journal Rajamangala Institute of Technology under Rajamangala Institute of Technology (RIT) . Subsequently, it had been renamed as Research Journal Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi in 2007, published by the Institute of Research and Development of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) from volume 10 issue 2. In 2018, the journal has been published both in print and electronic forms starting from volume 17 issue 2. The journal title has been renamed to Journal of Applied Research on Science and Technology since 2021. The journal's title was changed in order to attract more international readers and authors. The journal is an open access peer-reviewed and double blinded journal which publishes online original academic research articles and review articles.

Aims and Scope

          The Journal of Applied Research on Science and Technology (JARST) aims to disseminate and share knowledge and ideas in the form of high-quality articles to academia, professionals and industrialists. The JARST is an open-access journal that provides a forum for publishing peer-reviewed with double-blinded article covering various areas of science and technology. The scope of the journal includes the following areas of research:

• General Engineering

• General Materials Science

• General Agricultural and Biological Sciences

• General Computer Science

• General Mathematics

          with particular emphasis on issues that deepen in the basic and applied research. The JARST includes full length original, novel research articles and review articles. Also publishes editorials, posters and letters to the editors. Accepted articles are immediately available online and are freely accessible without any restrictions or any other obligations to researchers and scholarly people globally.

 

Peer Review Process

  1. Evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief

          The Editor-in-Chief will see whether the topic and theme of the article are appropriate and congruent with the stipulated objectives and format of the Journal. Plagiarism and benefits relating to theory and business contribution will also be investigated. The submitted paper may be returned to the author for preliminary revising or, if the aforesaid criteria are not met, rejected.

  1. Evaluation by Review

          All submitted manuscripts must be reviewed by at least two expert reviewers in the related fields. Reviewers will evaluate the quality of submitted article for publication via the double-blinded review system.

  1. Evaluates the Reviews

          The Editor-in-Chief make decision for article publication based on the external readers’ evaluation. The said decision is either accepting the article for publication, rejecting it, or resending it back to the author for further elaborating revision.

 

Open Access Policy

          This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
