การพัฒนาและประเมินประสิทธิภาพถ่านกัมมันต์จากเปลือกมะพร้าว เพื่อการบำบัดน้ำเสียจากการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ ประเทศไทย

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและประเมินประสิทธิภาพของถ่านกัมมันต์จากเปลือกมะพร้าวสำหรับบำบัดน้ำเสียจากบ่อเลี้ยงกุ้งก้ามกรามในระดับชุมชน จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ โดยมุ่งเพิ่มมูลค่าของเสียทางการเกษตรและลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมจากกิจกรรมการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ การศึกษาประกอบด้วย 3 ขั้นตอนหลัก ได้แก่ (1) การผลิตถ่านกัมมันต์จากเปลือกมะพร้าวด้วยกระบวนการคาร์บอไนเซชันภายใต้การควบคุม และการกระตุ้นทางเคมีด้วยกรดฟอสฟอริก (H3PO4) (2) การวิเคราะห์สมบัติทางกายภาพและเคมี เช่น ความชื้น ปริมาณเถ้า สารระเหย และค่าการดูดซับไอโอดีน และ (3) การประเมินประสิทธิภาพการกำจัดสารมลพิษโดยใช้น้ำเสียจริงจากชุมชน ผลการวิจัยพบว่าถ่านกัมมันต์จากเปลือกมะพร้าวที่ผ่านการกระตุ้นด้วยกรดฟอสฟอริกมีค่าการดูดซับไอโอดีนเฉลี่ย 982.33 ± 4.93 มิลลิกรัมต่อกรัม ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับสูงและสะท้อนถึงสมรรถนะการดูดซับที่ดี การทดสอบแบบ batch jar test
พบว่าสามารถลดแอมโมเนียไนโตรเจน (NH3-N) ได้ร้อยละ 34.21 ลดของแข็งแขวนลอยทั้งหมด (TSS)
ได้ร้อยละ 34.85 และลดไนโตรเจนเคลด์ดาห์ลทั้งหมด (TKN) ได้ร้อยละ 43.35 พร้อมทั้งช่วยปรับค่าความเป็นกรด-ด่างของน้ำให้อยู่ในช่วงที่เหมาะสม (pH 7.0-8.0) ผลการศึกษายืนยันว่าถ่านกัมมันต์จากเปลือกมะพร้าวมีศักยภาพในการเป็นวัสดุดูดซับสำหรับระบบบำบัดน้ำเสียในระดับชุมชน สามารถลดมลพิษจากการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และช่วยลดการพึ่งพาสารเคมีในกระบวนการบำบัด อีกทั้งยังสะท้อนแนวทางการจัดการของเสียชีวมวลแบบเพิ่มมูลค่าที่สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนและโมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG ของประเทศไทย
