การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์สิ่งทอต้นแบบจากเส้นใยผสมกล้วยไข่ และฝ้ายเพื่อการใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์

จากการศึกษาการนำกาบกล้วยไข่มาใช้ประโยชน์หลังการเก็บเกี่ยว พบว่า เส้นใยจากกาบกล้วยสามารถนำมาผสมกับเส้นฝ้ายเพื่อทอผ้าได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยจากการวิเคราะห์คุณสมบัติทางกายภาพและเคมีของเส้นใย พบว่ารูปแบบที่ 5 (เส้นด้ายเบอร์ 10 ผสมเส้นใยกล้วยร้อยละ 10 และเส้นใยฝ้ายร้อยละ 90) และรูปแบบที่ 6 (เส้นด้ายเบอร์ 10 ผสมเส้นใยกล้วยร้อยละ 15 และเส้นใยฝ้ายร้อยละ 85) มีปริมาณลิกนิน เฮมิเซลลูโลส เซลลูโลส และเถ้าสูงที่สุด ซึ่งเป็นองค์ประกอบที่ส่งผลต่อความแข็งแรงของเส้นใย เนื่องจากมีโครงสร้างผลึกที่แน่นหนา ในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากผ้าทอผสมเส้นใยกล้วยและฝ้ายพบว่า รูปแบบที่ 2 (เส้นด้ายเบอร์ 5 ผสมเส้นใยกล้วยร้อยละ 10 และเส้นใยฝ้ายร้อยละ 90) มีความแข็งแรงและทนทานสูงสุดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (p < 0.05) อย่างไรก็ตาม รูปแบบที่ 5 และ 6 มีความเหมาะสมในการนำไปผลิตเป็นเครื่องใช้ต่าง ๆ โดยเฉพาะเมื่อพิจารณาถึงการใช้เส้นใยกล้วยในสัดส่วนสูงสุดที่ร้อยละ 10 และร้อยละ 15 ซึ่งช่วยลดปริมาณวัสดุเหลือทิ้งได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผลิตภัณฑ์ต้นแบบที่พัฒนาจากผ้าทอรูปแบบที่ 5 และ 6 ได้แก่ หมวก กระเป๋า และผ้าคลุมโต๊ะ ซึ่งได้รับความพึงพอใจจากผู้ทดลองใช้ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด (ค่าเฉลี่ย 4.02–4.55) และพบว่ามีปริมาณโลหะหนัก ต่ำที่สุดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (p < 0.05) เมื่อสิ้นสุดกระบวนการวิจัย ได้มีการจัดทำองค์ความรู้ในรูปแบบคู่มือเพื่อส่งเสริมการต่อยอดสู่กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ กลุ่มทอผ้าบ้านมัดหมี่ และกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนสวนป่าปางหวาย โดยมีข้อเสนอแนะเพิ่มเติม คือ ควรพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ให้มีหลายขนาดปรับเนื้อผ้าให้มีความนุ่มมากขึ้น และเพิ่มสีสันของผ้าทอเพื่อสร้างความหลากหลายให้แก่ผู้บริโภค
