Factors Related to Online learning of Mattayom-suksa 5 Students in the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University in the New Normal Era

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1)  study factors related to online learning in the new normal era, i.e., teacher behavior, learner adaptation, and the availability of environment/media/technology; 2) study online learning of students in Mattayom-suksa 5 at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University in the new normal era; And 3) find the relationship between factors related to online learning in the new normal era and online learning of  Mattayom-suksa 5 students  at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University. By using a questionnaire as an instrument research, 238 samples were students studying in  Mattayom-suksa 5 who learned the basics of occupation at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University. The research statistics included mean, standard deviation and the statistical correlation coefficient.

The results showed that: 1) factors related to online learning in the new normal era included teacher behavior, learner adaptation,  the readiness of the environment/media/technology, the adaptation of the learners, and the availability of environment/media/technology. Overall findings revealed that the students reported the relationship of all factors at high level. When considering on each aspect, it was found that the highest aspect was readiness of environment/media/technology, followed by teacher behavior, and the least was learner adaptation.2) Online learning of Mattayom-suksa 5 students at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University in the new normal era was overall perceived as existence. When considering on each aspect, it was found that the highest mean was lesson review followed by strategies in an exam preparation and taking an exam and the least was anxiety in studying. And 3) the relationship between factors related to online learning in the new normal era and online learning of Mattayom-suksa 5 students at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University included learner adaptation and availability of environment/media/technology was statistically significant at the 0.05 level. When considering each aspect, it was found that there was a correlation except for the anxiety in studying and strategies in an exam preparation and taking an exam which showed no statistically significant correlation.
