Factors related to health care behavior of non-insulin-dependent diabetes patients according to Dhammanamai Principle in Queen Sirikit’s Health Center Bang Khan Teak Mueang District, Samutsongkhram Province

Abstract

          This study is a descriptive research study. Purpose was to study health care behaviors. and study personal factors, leading factors, facilitating factors, and supporting factors that relationship with health care behaviors of non-insulin-dependent Diabetes patients according to Dhammanamai principle of 126 people. The research tool was a questionnaire consisting by experts with IOC values and using Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.


          The results showed that the population group had personal factors and knowledge factors there was no relationship with health care behaviors according to Dhammanamai principles. Attitudes factors, receiving health advice factors and social support factors there was relationship with Health care behaviors according to Dhammanamai principles were at moderate levels with a statistically significant


          Therefore, it is necessary to promote and support the creation of attitudes, receiving health advice and social support with health care behaviors according to Dhammanamai principles Queen Sirikit’s Health Center Bang Khan Teak, Samutsongkhram province.
