THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CRAFTS OF CULTURAL TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN PHETCHABURI GUIDEBOOK (CHINESE-ENGLISH-THAI)

The purposes of this research were to collect data of Muang-Phet arts and crafts, and to design and create a cultural tourism guidebook (Chinese-English-Thai Version). The sample groups consisted of a group of 15 experts and 50 tourists who visited Phetchaburi province. Results were found that the guidebook design criteria based on survey opinions should be in A5 size, printed on 120 grams of bond paper containing 33 pages in full color printing (=4.23, SD=0.98). The contents of the guidebook focused on giving advice, knowledge, concept, important information of Muang-Phet arts and crafts history, maps and travel routes. The level of tourist satisfactions was high after using the guidebook (= 4.07, S.D. = 0.77) because it was easy to use and the contents were designed consistently with the objectives. The tourists gained more knowledge and understanding of arts and crafts in Muang-Phet and will suggest people to visit and use this guidebook as well.
