บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพหลักสูตรและชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้เรื่อง ภาษาอังกฤษเทคนิคเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวเมืองไทยในวิถีพุทธ ซึ่งมีหัวข้อหลัก 5 หัวข้อสำคัญคือ การเตรียมกาย วาจาและใจเพื่อรองรับบุญกุศล ความยิ่งใหญ่และประวัติของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าวันสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนาและกิจกรรมที่พุทธศาสนิกชนพึงกระทำ พระไตรปิฎกและชาดก ศีล สมาธิปัญญา และบทส่งท้าย คณะผู้วิจัยได้นำหลักสูตรและชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ที่พัฒนาขึ้นตามกระบวนการของการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ไปทดลองใช้เพื่อเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลกับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 2 กลุ่มๆ ละ 25 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 50 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) ตามคุณสมบัติผู้เข้ารับการศึกษาเรียนรู้ที่กำหนดไว้ในหลักสูตร คณะผู้วิจัยใช้แผนการทดลองแบบ One - Group Pretest - Posttest Design ก่อนเริ่มการศึกษาเรียนรู้คณะผู้วิจัยให้ผู้เข้ารับการศึกษาเรียนรู้ทำการทดสอบก่อนการศึกษาเรียนรู้ (Pretest) หลังจากนั้นจึงนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาคำนวณหาประสิทธิภาพของหลักสูตรและชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้ที่คณะผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อใช้ศึกษาเรียนรู้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ชุดสื่อการเรียนรู้มีประสิทธิภาพทางภาคทฤษฎีเท่ากับ 91.72/93.84 และมีประสิทธิภาพทางภาคปฏิบัติเท่ากับ 83.60/84.16 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 80/80 ตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนรู้ก่อนและหลังการศึกษาเรียนรู้มีความแตกต่างกันที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01

Abstract

The purposes of this experimental study were to develop and validate the efficiency of a curriculum and learning media on “Technical English for Tourism in Thailand in Buddhist Style”. The curriculum comprised 5 major contents which were Preparation of Body, Speech and Mind for Merit Supporting, The Greatness and Life of the Lord Buddha, The Important Days of Buddhism and the Activities Buddhists should Practice on, The Tipitaka and Jataka, and Precepts, Meditation, Wisdom and Final Chapter. Utilizing a purposive sampling technique, two groups of 25 participants each were allocated in this study. A One - Group Pretest - Posttest Design was used in the experiment. The samples were assigned to take the pretest before training. Then the posttest and the training satisfaction evaluation form were given to the students at the end of the training. The scores were analyzed to determine the efficiency of the curriculum and the learning media. As results, the developed curriculum was found to be effective for training. The efficiency of the learning media was at 91.72/93.84 in theoretical achievement and at 83.60/84.16 in practical achievement , which was higher than the criteria set at 80/80. The difference between the means of the pretest and posttest was statistically significant (p< .01).
