Abstract
Poly- β-hydroxyalkanoate; PHA is a lipid compound which can be produced and accumulated in bacteria cells for used as carbon sources and energy reserve when they were in unsuitable condition. The characteristic of this compound has similar to synthetic plastic e.g. polypropylene plastic therefore it can be used for producting of PHA were carbon and nitrogen sources, duration of fermentation, minerals, pH and temperature etc. The use of biodegrable plastics can be reduced environmental impact from plastic garbage problem.
