The Study on Quality Improvement with Respect to the Dimensions of Unsmoked Sheet
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to improve the dimension quality of unsmoked sheet that produced in
northeast region of Thailand. The dimension quality of unsmoked sheet was researched by the
experiments to meet the standard. Two experiments, the suitable dimensions of coagulum and the
optimal feeding methods during mangling the smoothed rubber sheet were done. It was found that
these two methods could improve the dimensions of unsmoked sheet to meet the first class standard
of unsmoked sheet. In practical, the farmer satisfied the second method more than the first one. The
optimal feeding method during mangling the smoothed rubber sheet consisted of the cycle of 3
second feeding and 1 second drawing. The unsmoked sheets had dimensions that meet the first class
standard of unsmoked sheet. This feeding method would take more time than the traditional method
about 3 second/sheet.
