Design of a Speed Sensorless Vector Control System for Induction Motor Drive Based on Model Reference Adaptive System
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper describes the theory and concept of technique design of a speed sensorless vectorcontrol system base on model reference adaptive system (MRAS). The estimated speed is derived from thedifference of the rotor flux state resulting from voltage and current models which is passed through the PIcontroller. The design guideline for the estimate speed gain, speed controller and the current controller arealso given to assure the system stability. These overall gains design to experimental test with a 3-phaseinduction motor by digital signal processor controller. The experimental results express actual and estimatespeed in the vicinity and the overall system has stability for the entire operating region.
