The Results of Using the Skill-training Kit Affecting the Academic Achievement in the Subject of Automotive Electrical Work on the Use of a Multi-meter of the 2nd Year Vocational Certificate Students, Automotive Department, Suratthani Technical College

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop a multi-meter skill training set for the subject of Automotive Electrical Work to meet the efficiency criteria of 80/80, 2) compare the academic achievement on electrical measuring tools of the 2^nd year vocational certificate students before and after using the multi-meter skill training set, and 3) study the satisfaction of the 2^nd year vocational certificate students in Automotive Department towards the learning management using the multi-meter skill training set. The sample group consisted of 40 students from the 2^nd year vocational certificate students, Class 3, Automotive Department, Suratthani Technical College, in the second semester of the academic year 2022 derived by cluster sampling technique. The research instruments included the multi-meter skill training set, an academic achievement test, lesson plans, and a student satisfaction survey regarding the learning management.

The research findings revealed that: 1) the effectiveness of the multi-meter skill training set met the efficiency criteria of 80/80, 2) the average academic achievement scores on the multi-meter skill training set before and after learning were significantly different at 0.1 level. And 3) the students' satisfaction with the learning management using the training set was at a high level.
