Management Model for the Intellectual Repository of a Vocational College using the Digital Platform Intelligent Center: IC Lbtech to Enhance the Quality of Vocational Education Management at Lopburi Technical College

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the requirements and guidelines for management model design, 2) design a management model, 3) try out the management model, and 4) evaluate the developed management model. The research was conducted in 4 parts. The sample groups for Part 1 included 446 people consisting of school administrators, teachers, and cooperation networks. Participants for Part 2 consisted of 23 experts while participants in Part 3 came from 7 projects. Participants in Part 4 included 323 people consisting of school administrators, teachers, school staffs, cooperation network staffs, and students. The data were collected by questionnaires, an interview form, a focus group discussion form, a report evaluation form, and a user manual for the Lbtech IC digital platform. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis were used to analyze the data.

The results were as follows. 1) The requirements and guidelines for the design of the management model reached overall at a high average score. 2) The guidelines for the design of the management model consisted of 4 components. 3) The result of the management model implementation in 7 projects indicated that the evaluation of overall satisfaction was high and the overall performance increased. 4) The evaluation results of the management of the vocational brain bank were at the highest level in all aspects. The evaluation results of the quality of the management model for vocational education in the dual vocational education system had the highest average value. The evaluation results of the management model had the highest average value in overall. The number of cooperation networks or workplaces had increased to 77. In addition, school administrators, teachers, and students have received a total of 155 awards for the 2023 academic year with the increase of overall GPA of the students. The vocational brain bank service system provided vocational standards testing center, professional repository, research and innovation repository, personnel repository, digital media repository, and internship.
