The Development and Efficiency Validation of a Basic Marketing Instructional Package, Course Code 20202-2001 Based on the Professional Certificate Curriculum, Commerce Subject Type, Office of the Vocational Education Commission

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) create and evaluate the efficiency of the basic marketing instructional package, 2) validate the effectiveness of the basic marketing instructional package, 3) compare the academic achievement of the students before and after studying with the basic marketing instructional package, 4) evaluate the learning effectiveness index of the students studying with the basic marketing instructional package, and 5) study the satisfaction of the students learning with the basic marketing instructional package. The samples were twelve 3^rd year vocational certificate students in Accounting Department in the second semester of academic year 2023 of Thaimuang Industrial Community Education College. The research statistics included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test dependent.

The results can be summarized as follows.  1) There are 9 parts of the instructional package. The quality of the instructional package evaluated by the experts was overall at the highest level. 2) The efficiency of the basic marketing instructional package was equal to 81.61/80.69. 3) The students learning achievement after studying with the basic marketing instructional package was significantly higher than that before at the .05 level. 4) The learning effectiveness index using the basic marketing instructional package was equal to 0.6601 or 66.01 percent. And finally, 5) the satisfaction of the students studying with the basic marketing instructional package was overall at a high level.
