Development of Office Equipment Borrowing System for WSP (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) design and develop a system for storing and borrowing and returning office supplies and equipment of WSP (Thailand) Co., Ltd. 2) study the satisfaction of users of borrowing and returning office supplies and equipment of WSP (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The research methodology is the problem and the need to analyze and design the system to meet the needs of the users by using the design principles (SDLC). The tools used in the system development are Microsoft Visual Studio as a development language and use the MS SQL database management system and the server simulation program is Apache Web Server. The satisfaction questionnaire is the sample group of 20 employees of WSP (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The statistics used in the data analysis are the mean and standard deviation.

The research results found that the problem of the old system was data storage in the form of paper notes, which made it difficult to work and record data, which resulted in data loss and difficulty in contacting and tracking equipment. The summary of the requirements of the new system is as follows: Develop a system that can manage data on borrowing and returning office equipment and check the results of borrowing and returning. In addition, the system can store data of users of the borrowing and returning system and can generate reports, including reports on borrowing and returning equipment and materials, separated into different types according to the needs of the users.
