The Development of an Equipment Borrowing and Returning Application for Wat Thua Thong

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze requirements, design a borrowing/returning system for equipment used to measure tua thong beans, develop a corresponding application, and study user satisfaction with the application. In the development process, the researcher identified existing problems and gathered relevant data for analysis. The application was developed using the react native framework along with SQLite as the database, and functionality testing was conducted using nox player to simulate use on android devices. The sample group consisted of the abbot, deputy abbot, temple committee members, and members of the   tua thong temple community and nearby communities who use the service, totaling 30 individuals. The research tools included interview forms, the borrowing/returning application, and a user satisfaction questionnaire. The statistical methods used for data analysis were the mean and standard deviation. The research results showed that the system analysis and design followed the system development lifecycle. The developed application defined two user groups: administrators and general members. The overall user satisfaction evaluation was at the highest level, with a mean score of 4.59 and a standard deviation of 0.14. This research is significant and positively impacts the Tua Thong temple community. The developed application efficiently manages the borrowing and returning of equipment, reduces delays and the use of traditional record-keeping methods, and enhances accessibility to equipment for temple activities.
