Abstract

This research focuses on studying the results of online teaching in the new normal to design online teaching media in the new normal and satisfaction of 3rd year students in the furniture design course for online. The method was researched by looking at each type of program information for online teaching, interviewing and analyzing it to determine the appropriateness for use as a teaching medium. The process of creating presentation media was selected from eight to one programs by interviewing Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and three teachers. Then, there was assessed online learning and teaching achievements using five level rating scale. The results showed that Google Classroom and Google Meet were the most suitable for online teaching and learning as they could create separated classroom clearly and conveniently. Google Classroom and Google Meet had the highest average (equation  = 5.00, SD = 0.00). By comparing the pre-test scores with learning achievement scores of the sample group, it was found that the pre-test was at 15.29 (48.92%) and the post-test was at 24.82 (80.33%). The overall assessment of 62 students’ satisfaction was at a high level with an average of (equation  = 4.08, SD = 0.50) The satisfaction with a high average was the use of online learning media, followed by online media and online lesson. The test scores had an average of (equation = 4.40, SD = 0.44) The satisfaction of Furniture Design subject had an average of (equation = 4.17, SD = 0.48), learning achievement of online lesson users with an average of (equation  = 3.92, SD = 0.50) and the lesson content of online media with an average of (equation = 3.84, SD = 0.58) respectively.
