Abstract

The purpose of this academic article was to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on teaching and learning management and English instructional models in the new normal under the prevention measures by the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA). The Ministry of Education has recommended five Learning and teaching options, including on site, on air, on demand, online and on hand, for all subjects in all education establishments. However, they need to consider an appropriate teaching and learning model, and safety of students, teachers, and parents. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there have been significant disruptions to education. Students and teachers need to adapt themselves to different teaching and learning modes pertaining to their respective education setting. All educational establishments are also expected to handle appropriate teaching and learning management in the new normal.
