THE TRAINING PACKAGE DEVELOPMENT OF JOB INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: ON THE JOB TRAINING FOR PRODUCTION LINE SUPERVISORS IN AUTOMOTIVE AND PARTS INDUSTRY

Abstract
This research aims to develop a training package of job instruction techniques: on the job training for production line supervisors in the automotive and parts industry and to study the satisfaction of the trainees after the training period. The developed training package was tested with the sampling group of 15 people at the Somboon Advance Technology Public Company Limited using the purposive sampling method. At the end of each section, the trainees were carried out an assessment to verify their progress. After the training, the post-test was conducted in order to evaluate their satisfaction on the training program. Finally, the results of the tests were interpreted to investigate an effectiveness of the training package.
The interpreted results showed that the developed training package had an effectiveness up to 89.83/ 83.05, which is higher than the criteria at 80/80, and the satisfaction on the training program was classified as high with the mean of 4.13.
