Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop and compare pretest and posttest scores and student satisfaction with a flipped classroom teaching model using think-pair-share and project-based learning.

The research sample consisted of 40 second year students majoring in computer education from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University who were selected using random sampling. The research tools were a flipped classroom teaching model using think-pair-share and project-based learning, a teaching plan,a teacher's manual, as well as a pretest and posttest. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent variables and efficiency value or Ej/E2. The results of this research revealed that the quality of content (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.50, S.D. = 0.13) and media production (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.63, S.D. = 0.08) was at the great level while the teaching plan (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.28, S.D. = 0.29) and teacher's manual (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.47, S.D. = 0.19) were at the good level. The efficiency E1/E2 was 82.22/86.04, which was higher than the specified 80/80. When the pretest and posttest were compared, it was found that the average scores of post-test ( gif.latex?\bar{x}=51.63, S.D. = 5.61) were higher than the ones of pre-test (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 33.33, S.D. = 10.31).
