This research aimed at studying and comparing the teaching and learning situation perceived by administrators and teachers of vocational certificate 2556 BE in industrial technique under the Office of Vocational Education. The aspects for investigation included teachers, curriculum, teaching and learning media, learning activities, and testing and evaluation. The samples in this study consisted of 1093 people of administrators and teachers. Research statistics included frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, one-way ANOVA, and F-test for variance analysis, and multiple comparison test by Scheffe. The findings revealed that the administrators and teachers perceived high level on 5 aspects, i.e. teachers, curriculum, teaching and learning media, learning activities, and testing and evaluation. The comparison of the learning and teaching situation perceived by the sample group showed that the samples from different sizes of educational institutes reported differently on both overall and each aspect at statistically significant level of 0.05. The multiple comparison test showed that the samples from small educational institutes reported higher opinion on learning and teaching situation than those from large and medium size educational institutes.
