การดูดซับสีย้อมรีแอคทีฟบลู 19 ด้วยถ่านจากเปลือกผลสำโรง

บทคัดย่อ
การดูดซับเป็นวิธีการบำบัดน้ำเสียที่ปนเปื้อนสีย้อมจากอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอที่ทำได้ง่ายและมีประสิทธิภาพงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการดูดซับสีย้อมรีแอคทีฟบลู 19 โดยใช้ถ่านที่เตรียมจากเปลือกผลสำโรงเป็นวัสดุดูดซับ ทำการศึกษาคุณสมบัติทางกายภาพของถ่านที่เตรียมได้ สภาวะที่เหมาะสมต่อการดูดซับ พฤติกรรมการดูดซับผ่านไอโซเทอมและจลนศาสตร์การดูดซับในระบบแบตช์ ผลการทดลองพบว่าถ่านที่เตรียมได้มีพื้นที่ผิวจำเพาะ 12.74 ตารางเมตรต่อกรัม และขนาดของรูพรุนเฉลี่ย 2.111 นาโนเมตร จัดเป็นวัสดุที่มีรูพรุนขนาดกลาง ลักษณะสัณฐานมีพื้นผิวขรุขระมีช่องว่างและรูพรุน ธาตุองค์ประกอบหลักคือ คาร์บอน และออกซิเจนผลการศึกษาสภาวะที่เหมาะสมในการดูดซับสีย้อมรีแอคทีฟบลู 19 พบว่าสภาวะที่เหมาะสม คือ ปริมาณถ่าน 0.30 กรัม เวลาในการดูดซับ 180 นาที และค่าความเป็นกรด-เบส (pH) ของสีย้อมไม่ส่งผลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญต่อการดูดซับ ผลการศึกษาไอโซเทอมการดูดซับสอดคล้องกับไอโซเทอมการดูดซับแบบแลงเมียร์มากกว่าไอโซเทอมแบบฟรุนดิช จัดเป็นการดูดซับแบบชั้นเดียว และมีลักษณะเป็นเนื้อเดียว มีค่าการดูดซับสูงสุด (qm) เท่ากับ 3.7764 มิลลิกรัมต่อกรัม ผลการศึกษาจลนศาสตร์ การดูดซับสอดคล้องกับแบบจำลองสมการปฏิกิริยาอันดับสองเทียมซึ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่าการดูดซับที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นการดูดซับทางเคมี จากผลการศึกษานี้ชี้ให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของถ่านที่ผลิตจากเปลือกผลสำโรงในการนำมาใช้เป็นวัสดุดูดซับสำหรับกำจัดสีย้อมรีแอคทีฟบลู 19 ในน้ำทิ้งจากอุตสาหกรรมฟอกย้อม ช่วยลดปัญหามลพิษทางสิ่งแวดล้อมและส่งเสริมการใช้ประโยชน์จากวัสดุเหลือใช้ในท้องถิ่นอย่างมีคุณค่าและยั่งยืน
