การประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีสามมิติเพื่อเก็บข้อมูลโบราณสถาน กรณีศึกษาวัดเชตวัน (กาเผือก)

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายลักษณะเฉพาะของพื้นที่ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการเก็บข้อมูลโบราณสถาน โดยเลือกกรณีศึกษาที่วัดเชตวัน (กาเผือก) จังหวัดพะเยา ซึ่งเป็นโบราณสถานสำคัญของท้องถิ่นล้านนาอายุราว 500 ปี ปัจจุบันเหลือเพียงซากเจดีย์ วิหารฐานอิฐ และแนวกำแพงที่อยู่ในสภาพทรุดโทรม วัดแห่งนี้สะท้อนคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ สถาปัตยกรรม และภูมิปัญญาชุมชนในอดีต จึงมีความจำเป็นต้องจัดเก็บข้อมูลเชิงกายภาพอย่างละเอียดเพื่อการอนุรักษ์และการศึกษาต่อไป วิธีการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การเก็บข้อมูลด้วยสองแนวทาง ได้แก่ (1) การสำรวจแบบดั้งเดิมโดยใช้กล้อง Total Station และการวัดด้วยแรงคน และ (2) การใช้เครื่องสแกนเลเซอร์สามมิติ Faro Focus M70 เพื่อสร้างชุดข้อมูล Point Cloud และแบบจำลองเชิงดิจิทัล ผลการเปรียบเทียบพบว่าเทคโนโลยีสแกนสามมิติสามารถเก็บข้อมูลได้ที่ความละเอียดสูงกว่า 2,000 จุดต่อตารางเมตร เข้าถึงพื้นที่ซับซ้อนได้โดยไม่ต้องสัมผัสวัตถุ และใช้เวลาภาคสนามน้อยกว่า ขณะที่การสำรวจแบบดั้งเดิมแม้จะมีต้นทุนตํ่าและคุ้นเคยต่อผู้ปฏิบัติงานแต่มีข้อจำกัดด้านความละเอียดและการเข้าถึงพื้นที่บางส่วน โดยสรุป การใช้เทคโนโลยีสแกนสามมิติมีศักยภาพสูงกว่าสำหรับงานอนุรักษ์เชิงดิจิทัล การสร้างแบบจำลอง 3 มิติ เข้าถึงพื้นที่ซับซ้อนได้ และรวดเร็วกว่า ขณะที่วิธีดั้งเดิมมีข้อดีเรื่องความคุ้นเคยและต้นทุนตํ่า การผสานทั้งสองวิธีจะเพิ่มความแม่นยำและศักยภาพของข้อมูล เพื่อนำไปใช้ด้านวิศวกรรมโบราณคดี และการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมอย่างยั่งยืน
